Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst Dr. Will Braun leads a specialized team of Silver Hill clinicians offering new hope to patients who have been difficult to diagnose and/or treatment-resistant in the past.
“The goal of the Argent Program,” explains Dr. Braun, “is to gain as deep an understanding of each patient as possible, provide diagnostic clarity about their condition, and offer detailed recommendations about moving forward successfully with their treatment.”
Dr. Braun believes that the key to finding new direction for program participants is leveraging the different viewpoints within the Argent team. “We use the lenses of psychological testing, psychiatry and social work, neurological evaluations, spirituality and other avenues of insight,” he says. “This way we get to look at the patient from different angles. We work closely together, listening to them, and fostering a profound understanding of what’s troubling them. We want participants to leave our program feeling understood and heard by us.”
Dr. Braun, who is a passionate jazz pianist on the side, sees his role as the Director of the Argent Program as that of a conductor of “a really sharp, exceptionally talented ensemble of clinicians. I think we’ve got a stellar team, and everyone on it is passionate about understanding and helping people. “
